Santar is a wonderful and aristocratic village, located 25 minutes from Viseu, right in the heart of the Dão Wine Demarcated Region.

It surprises with its cultural heritage and the beauty of its landscape marked by vineyards with Serra do Caramulo to the north and Serra da Estrela defining the horizon line to the south.

With a granite heart and noble buildings, Santar hides a profusion of tanks, fountains and walls. It is behind these walls that terraced gardens are found.
